    Yes. From the day he ships out to Lackland AFB for Basic his benifits kick in. You will receive BAH the whole time he is in Basic and Tech School. Typically it takes 30 days to kick in, but you will receive back pay for that month. Being that his Tech School is more than 20 weeks you could move with him after Phase 1 or 2. (Typically 4 to 6 weeks in Tech). You will be paid based on his residence at the time he enters Basic. If you decide to move with him for Tech you then will be paid based on the location of his Tech School.
