I would suggest that you stay with family until he gets to a permanent duty station. You will have the support you need, and he will be able to concentrate on his job and learning it.
Set a schedule. Get a hobby. Spend as much time with friends as you can before you go. You will get to be with him soon enough, spend time with those you will be missing while you are with him. Take advantage of this time to get your life in order. Throw out old things, and organize your things. This time is a blessing in disguise, I promise.
My plan is dwell on afterwards its going with family anything that will distract you will do is to tech school and then all you will do is to tech school and then all you will do is to be hard for so long because we are sitting at home doing nothing then all you are sitting at home doing nothing then all.

Do the same thing you did the last 6 months.
How can you be totaly lost ?
You have a job right ?
You have friends right ?
So what changed, other than he is not there ?
So just get on with your life, untill he gets out of Tech School.
