is electrical apprenticeship training a good idea?

I’m thinking about applying for an electrician apprenticeship position at a local union. I’m also considering vocational school or technical school. Which is the best option. I would also love to hear from electricians about the industry, the pros and cons of different types of electricians Which pays more, Will have you working all the time, etc.

The electrical apprenticeship is probably best, but try to combine both./
