Where is your tech school? Shepard in Wichita Falls or elsewhere? There are barracks; they vary from base to base—they probably aren’t the Hilton, but hopefully they will be a bit nicer than “projects”. They also ease up just a bit on the conditions from boot camp, but you are still very focused on the training and it isn’t fun and games.

It is nicer than Basic. You should have a room with just 3 to 4 people in each room. Still government buildings so they will look the same.

Well at Sheppard I heard mice running in the ceilings.. Then there was the forbidden room with a dead rat that died in the heater that no one wanted to clean. Than there was LUKE, Nicest place ever. Palm trees out your window.. Beautiful dorm… It’s location man.

My experience is, if you’ve seen one barrack, you’ve seen them all.
At Ft Knox, we had new barracks, and we had to polish the floor daily. At Fort Lost in the Woods, we had the old, WWII wood barracks on cinder blocks. However, there were no white glove inspections, and as long as they looked decent, that was fine.
At school, life was far, far more relaxed. instead of screaming at you,, the sgts played pool with you. There was no more “basic training, BS” as long as you remembered, you were still in the army.

found this Tour on myspace, lol hope it helps!

its more freedom but a lot of people tend to get more in trouble

and you go by phases in order to stay out late on weekends and to get off base

and you have PT 3 times a week

hope this helps

For the rooms were extremely small 24 people per room which is beyond insane but only half the usaf let me tell youbefore mass repairs.
The wall mold growing on your latrine cieling so uhhgood luck if you want to be living in sf otherwise you could stick pencils in it acs.
