Where would i be stationed after all training?
I know ill be gone away from home for 19.5 weeks.
Im going to join the air force, maybe i shouldve made that clear first.
Joining the air force and i know im going to be gone frm home for 19.5 weeks For both training and security force tech school.

It would count towards promotion. In the Army people are promoted based on time in service, in grade, military and civilian education, and evaluations.
After training you’re assigned to a permanent post. It may be close to home or not. I had 6 months a days drive from home, then a year overseas, then a location across the country from home.
In the service, going to school is a big help. The military normally pays 75% of a class.
