Do technical training instructors in the Air Force for Contracting deploy during the 4 year special duty?

I am in the Air Force looking at doing the special duty at Lackland AFB as a tech school training instructor. My question is if they deploy during the 4 year special duty. I am getting married soon and would like to spend the first couple years with my wife at home.

    No, Tech School instructors do not deploy.

    Not much use to teach Tech School in Afghanistan.

    Au contraire, mon feres. That was true but no longer is.

    Do they need tech school instructors. . .not so much. Do they need 7 level contracting specialists, they sure do.

    Instructors are subject to deploy.
