That is impossible, for the Westinghouse Air Brake uses an air-reduction system, which safeguards against such a thing. If the airhoses should become severed or something else to cause a break, the air rushes out the brake lines, and the brakes go into emergency automatically, stopping the train. Although with the older “straight air” system, which has been out of use for decades, such a thing could cause a runaway. I am currently in a community college but I want to go to a techncial college because it wouldn’t be as hard to get into the program. At the community college, you have to get accepted into the respiratory therapy program and the technical college you don’t. You just need to get into the school and start the training. I don’t plan on going until august 08 but I wanted to know which one makes more sense. I can still see if I get accepted into the comm. college but if I don’t, should I go to the technical college. I will be getting the same Associates Degree @ either college.
